Celebrating and Pampering Your Pregnant Wife By Mark Stackpole
So, does pregnancy last 40 weeks or nine months? No one is going to be in the mood to quibble about the mathematical inconsistencies right now. She is probably feeling anxious and enormous and you are no doubt overwhelmed by how much there is still left to do. Your approach is simple: Whatever she wants, she gets. No questions asked.
Yes, you're tired, but nothing you have done compares with what she has done and what she will be doing any moment now. If she wants ice cream at 2 a.m., you go get it. Her feet hurt get her a nice pair of bedroom slippers and be prepared to do foot rubs on demand. And while on the subject of feet, Erin Mitchell of Almaden, Calif., says the mom-to-be might be ready for another pedicure. She will want them to look good for the delivery room. Don't ask she just does.
Even an "easy pregnancy" is a bit of a contradiction in terms. She deserves your support in a lot of different ways, and you need to give it to her in all of them.
