Baby's First Thanksgiving
Delicious Baby Food Recipes
By Elizabeth Geiger
Who says baby has to eat the same old jar baby foods for Thanksgiving? After all, Thanksgiving is that one special time of year when we all splurge at our dinner tables and stuff our mouths with unbelievable amounts of food – most of which are not considered the best for our health.
So this year we are breaking the rules for Baby, too. Instead of buying "Thanksgiving in a jar" baby foods, use these baby food recipes to give your baby a first Thanksgiving he won't forget.
These recipes are intended for babies older than 6 months. For younger babies who are just starting solid foods, use your expressed milk or formula instead of water to make the food taste more familiar.
How's this for a meal?
- Turkey and Cranberry Puree
- Baked Acorn Squash
- Mouth-Watering Pureed Potatoes
- Pureed Baked Sweet Potatoes
